Birding Field Trip (Grassland Birds)

Chip Francke will lead a field trip on Friday, June 2 at the Walkinshaw Wetlands near Walkerville, one of the best birding locations in Oceana County. We will look and listen for grassland birds such as upland sandpipers, bobolinks, dicksissels, henslows sparrows, meadowlarks, sedge wrens and more.

Bring your own binoculars if you have them; we will have a few extra on hand if needed. The field trip will take place under light rain conditions but will be cancelled in the event of medium to heavy rain. Space is limited to 15 partipants.
