Munger Scholarship Program
We are thrilled to announce the first annual 2018 Munger Scholarship Awards. Oceana Conservation District will award $1,000 scholarships to three (3) high school seniors in Oceana County in the spring of 2018. Applications will be accepted from high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree in natural resources, conservation, or agriculture and demonstrate the potential to become active community leaders committed to promoting conservation, stewardship, and sustainable use of the natural resources in Oceana County. The Munger Scholarship Program is named after Edith and Louis Munger, early pioneers in conservation and agriculture in Oceana County. For more information about the Mungers and how to apply, click on the Application button below. Applications must be submitted by February 15th, 2018 and the scholarships will be awarded at the District's annual meeting on March 15.
Oceana Conservation District established the Munger Scholarship Program in 2017 with the support of three generous donors. We are looking for more individuals, businesses, and organizations who would also like to contribute to the fund, ideally on an annual basis. For more information, contact Suzie Knoll at (231) 861-5600 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or click below to donate now.
