John Deere 1590 No-Till drill rental

The Oceana Conservation District maintains a no-till grain drill which may be rented by local farmers for planting oats, rye, alfalfa, and certain grasses, wheat, sorghum and soybeans, etc. A minimum 75 HP tractor is required to pull the drill.  Please contact the District ahead of time to reserve the drill for only the dates you plan to be planting; the drill is in high demand and we want to try to make it available to everyone!

Anyone interested in renting the drill will first have to fill out a rental contract with the District, and review proper operating procedures. If the drill is returned unclean (with seed still in boxes or seed cups) or with damages, the renter will be charged for cleaning and/or repairs as necessary.
