Join us for a winter sunset at Mears State Park. Songs, stories and a guided hike up Old Baldy will round out the evening. Please leave flashlights at home. Lanterns and candles will be available to borrow to softly illuminate the trail as we walk, allowing our night vision to fully develop. Children may enjoy making a punched tin lantern at home to carry while they walk. Here’s a great method we use with our Forest School children: tin can lantern
