Birding Field Trip (Migratory Songbirds)

  • White River (various locations) (map)

Scheduled during peak migration, we will focus on warblers, sometimes challenging to identify because they are small and quick, but are worth the effort because it is only once a year that we get to see these beauties in their brightly-colored breeding plumage. We will be exploring pristine habitat along the White River. The White River is designated as an Important Bird Area for the cerulean warbler.
