Join Conservation District employee, Lynda Herremans on Friday, May 29th for a birding field trip along the scenic White River near Hesperia. We’ll be spotting vibrant migrating warblers and listening for the songs of riparian birds returning to their breeding grounds.
No binoculars? No problem - we’ll have a few spare pairs, though you’re encouraged to bring your own. We’ll head out even in light rain, but keep an eye out for a cancellation notice day of if things get heavy.
Remember, a Forest Service Day Pass is required for entry. Space for this event is limited, so be sure to register soon; exact meeting details will be sent to participants a few days before we meet. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Oceana Conservation District office at (231)861-5600 or email Lynda Herremans at lynda.herremans@macd.org
