Wild Ones West Michigan Shore-to-Prairie Kick-off

  • Oceana Conservation District 1064 Industrial Park Drive Shelby, MI, 49455 United States (map)

Are you interested in the environmental, economic and aesthetic benefits of native landscaping?

Oceana, Newaygo and Muskegon counties have joined to expand the local chapter of Wild Ones, and form the West Michigan Shore-to-Prairie Chapter. Wild Ones chapters are a space where like-minded people gather to support each other in learning about landscaping with native plants and to share with others in their communities and networks about why it’s important to reintroduce native plants into public and private gardens and how to go about doing it. We are happy to host the kick-off for the new chapter and build the community around landscaping with native plants in and around Oceana County.

Visit the West Michigan Shore-to-Prairie Chapter to learn more and join our chapter. Then join us on January 17, as we host Connie Crancer, acting President and native plant advocate, to get started or continue your journey with Michigan native plants.
